What this site collects, what it does not, and why.

Who runs this site

https://vikasbuilds.com is run by Vikas Bharat Yadav (VikasBuildsApp), based in India. Contact: vikasbuilds.ofc@gmail.com.

What is collected

Resource analytics

When you open a resource page, or read or download a PDF, the site records a counter row containing: which resource it was, the timestamp, the referring website's hostname, any utm_* parameters in the link you followed, and a coarse country code. No IP address is stored, no cookie is set for this, and nothing here identifies you personally.

Traffic analytics

General traffic may be measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors. It reports aggregate page counts only.

Visitor analytics

Pages on this site report back to this site, and to nobody else, when you open a page, click a link or button, or run into an error: which page it was, the text of the link or button, the website that sent you here (its hostname only), any utm_* parameters, your approximate location (country and city) and your device type, operating system and browser. Form submissions record whether they went through or which error was shown. These events are grouped under an anonymous id that the server derives from your IP address and browser, mixed with a secret key and the date. It changes every day, cannot be turned back into an IP address, and the IP address itself is not stored. No cookie or browser storage is used. The events are deleted after 30 days; only daily totals are kept after that.

Security logs

Requests that look like attacks on the site (for example probing for WordPress or configuration files), attempts to reach the owner's admin area, blocked cross-site form posts and every admin sign-in attempt are logged with the IP address, the network it belongs to, the country and the browser's user agent. This is kept only to detect and block abuse, and deleted after 30 days.

Play Pricing purchases

When you buy the extension, I store your email, mobile number, country, order and payment references, amount, payment status and download dates. Only I can see them. Cashfree handles your payment details. A cookie and local storage keep your download access in your browser for up to a year, and a private recovery code restores it in another browser.

Newsletter

If, and only if, you submit the optional signup form, your email address is stored so new resources can be announced. Free resource downloads never require it. You can ask for removal at any time by emailing vikasbuilds.ofc@gmail.com.

Build enquiries

If you send project details through /build, the site stores what you typed: your name, email address, phone number if you gave one, what you want built, what it is for and must do, a reference link, and the budget and timeline you picked. It is used to reply with a quote and nothing else.

1:1 call bookings

If you book a call, the site stores what you typed into the form: your name, email address, whether you chose Google Meet or a phone call, your mobile number if you chose a phone call, the slot you picked, the description of what you want to talk about, and your time zone as your browser reports it, so emails can show the call in your own time. An online payment is made inside Cashfree's checkout, and the site keeps only Cashfree's order, payment and refund IDs; a UPI payment leaves only the reference number you typed, so I can match it. The site never sees your bank details, card details or UPI PIN.

Your email address is used for the booking confirmation and the Google Meet link, and your mobile number only to call you for that booking. The Meet link is made for your booking alone through Google Meet; your name and email are not sent to Google for it. Cashfree receives your name, email and mobile number to open the payment, and what its checkout asks you for, under its own privacy policy. Booking does not sign you up to the newsletter. Ask me to delete a booking record at any time by emailing vikasbuilds.ofc@gmail.com; a record of an online payment itself is kept for my accounts.

Play Store publishing

If you send an app through /publish, the site stores what you typed: your name, email address and phone number, the app name and package name, the support contact Google will show publicly on your listing, your descriptions and the links you pasted. An online payment is made inside Cashfree's checkout, and the site keeps only Cashfree's order, payment and refund IDs; a UPI payment leaves only the reference number you typed. Your app icon and, for a UPI payment, a screenshot if you send one are the only files stored here. The bundle itself stays in your own Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer, and I only open the link you gave me. The site never sees your bank details, card details or UPI PIN.

After you pay (or, for a UPI payment, submit), the site shows you a receipt and offers it as a PDF. That receipt lives at a long unguessable link, is never indexed by search engines, and contains only your request ID, the app name, the amount, the payment ID or UPI reference, the time you submitted and the status. An online payment is confirmed by email once Cashfree reports it. A UPI order is not emailed at submission: the first email you get is the result of the payment check, once I have looked at my UPI app myself.

Your phone number is used to contact you about that app on WhatsApp chat, and nothing else: it is never added to a list, never sold, and never shared with anyone but Google's Play Console where the listing itself requires it. Ask me to delete an order record at any time by emailing vikasbuilds.ofc@gmail.com.

Form abuse limits

The public forms (booking, publishing, advertising, newsletter) keep a one-way hash of your IP address for 24 hours so one visitor cannot flood them. The hash cannot be turned back into an IP address, and it is deleted automatically.

A single cookie (vb_admin) exists for the site owner's admin area. Visitors never receive it.

Advertising

This site shows ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, Google included, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on those visits. You can opt out of personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads, and opt out of third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Google's own practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

No advertising cookie is set by this site itself, and none is used to identify you here. Ad serving is currently not enabled on this site.

Sponsor placements are sold directly, are always labelled "Sponsored" or "Partner", and set no tracking cookies of their own. Clicking one is counted as an anonymous tally.

Consent

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Google shows you a consent message before any personalised ads load. You can say no, and you can change your choice later from the privacy link that message leaves on the page. Everywhere else, use the opt-out links above.

Files and PDFs

PDFs are served from this site's own storage. Reading a PDF in the browser happens locally in your device using a bundled viewer; the file is not sent to any third party.

Your choices

  • Browse without accepting anything. Resource analytics carry no personal data.
  • Block scripts if you prefer; downloads still work, and no visitor analytics are sent.
  • Email to have a newsletter address, booking or order deleted.

Grievance officer

Questions or complaints about how your data is handled go to the grievance officer, Vikas Bharat Yadav, at vikasbuilds.ofc@gmail.com; the phone number is on the contact page. I acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
